Aluminum chairs will be provided for patrons of the small dog enclosure of the Estero dog park soon.
Lee County Parks & Recreation recently announced this new amenity will be available at all of their off-leash dog parks, including Estero’s Canine Corral.
The chairs will allow dog owners to move them around inside the enclosure as they wish. Estero Community Park staff will take the chairs to the dog park each morning and retrieve them daily.
Dog park patrons may still bring their own chairs but they must take them when they leave.
In addition to the aluminum chairs, a concrete walkway and slab to hold three permanent benches also have been added to the small dog park, which is scheduled to reopen mid-week.
The Estero dog park is part of Lee County Parks & Recreation’s Estero Community Park located at 9200 Corkscrew Palms Blvd. Dog park hours are from dawn to dawn daily.
