The applicant is requesting an amendment to a 7.04+ acre parcel in Plaza del Sol to allow an independent/assisted living and memory care facility.

Mission Grove of Estero’s plan includes 163 units in three-story buildings with a variety of amenities including a courtyard pool. The architecture is Mission Revival in earthtone shades and terracotta roof tiles.

Plaza del Sol is located at the northeast corner of Corkscrew Road and Three Oaks Parkway.

No voting occurs during public information meetings.

Material alteration –

The applicant was requesting to refresh and enhance the look of the shopping center with new building colors and signage colors to match, with an updated logo.

The paint color palette ranges from alabaster and moderate white to tony taupe and pavestone, with accent colors of pavilion beige and urbane bronze.

Public comment: Several eComment cards were placed into the record.

The Board voted to approve this application.

Sign revisions –

The signage revisions were proposed to update the appearance of the center and be consistent with the new color palette of the buildings. In addition, two new internal signs will be added.
