The Village is planning the future of “Old Estero” along the U.S. 41 corridor and nearby neighborhoods from Estero Parkway from the north, south to Hertz on both sides of 41.  This effort focuses on protecting natural areas, honoring Estero’s history, and ensuring high quality development.

To date, the Village has gathered community input through an online survey and an open house. More than 1,700 residents responded to the January survey, and 60 attended the first open house in March. A summary of the key findings from both efforts are among additional topics for your review on the new Eco-Historic Planning page located here.

This page will be updated as new information becomes available.
