Saving Estero Bay

estero bay Calusa Waterkeeper is inviting residents to the movie premiere of “Eternal Vigilance  – Fighting to Restore the Estero Bay Tributaries” at 5:30 – 6:45 p.m., Saturday, November 14.

The presentation will include a 25-minute film, in-studio presentations by Calusa Waterkeepers as well as guest appearances by contributing artists, including Clyde Butcher.

Marking the 30th anniversary of the naming of Estero Bay’s tributaries as outstanding waters, this special silent auction and movie premiere is scheduled to be broadcast on Facebook Live.  Admission is free but registration is required at

Estero Historical SocietyThe Society will be hosting their museum’s Gift Shop grand opening from  noon – 4 p.m., Sunday, November 29.

The event will feature local artists and craftsmen.  Complimentary refreshments will be offered following COVID-19 protocols.
