There will be a public information meeting regarding Coconut Point Holdings’ request to build up to 200 apartments on the east side of Via Coconut Point, just south of Williams Road.
The apartments would be situated in four buildings around the perimeter of the site and would include three stories over parking. They also plan to provide a pool and amenity center for residents. Additional parking will be provided behind the buildings, internal to the site.
There also will be two public hearings. The first public hearing will be for the proposed Tommy Bahama Coconut Point Marlin Bar and Restaurant at 23150 Fashion Drive in Coconut Point Mall. They are seeking approval for consumption on premises at their indoor /outdoor seating. They plan to be open during the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
The second public hearing will be for the Shoppes at Coconut Trace located at 22910 Lyden Drive off US 41 and west of Coconut Point Mall. They are requesting additional commercial/retail uses on their 1.34 acre site, which is partially built. The applicant also is requesting a deviation for a parking space reduction and a monument sign setback reduction.
