Mark Muraczewski, Estero’s Floodplain Administrator, participated in a Flood and Hurricane Preparedness media event held at the Lee County Emergency Operations Center on May 9.

District 4 County Commissioner Brian Hamman and Lee County Communications Director Betsy Clayton welcomed members of the media to the event which stressed the importance of hurricane season preparedness, including knowing your flood zone, generator safety,  what you should include in your disaster supply kit and pet sheltering.
