EsteroFest 2024 a special free event that will be fun for the entire family on Saturday, March 16 at the Estero Community Park. There will be a Kids Zone from 1 – 6 p.m. featuring face-painting, carnival games, arts and crafts, bounce houses, magic shows and kid friendly food trucks. Rotary Club of Estero presenting first 5K run/walk on March 16 to benefit charities
Sign up now to participate in this 5K run/walk at Coconut Point Mall on Saturday, March 16 from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m. to benefit mental health organizations and other charities in the Lee and Collier County area. The first 300 registrants will receive a Dri-Fit t-shirt. All participants will receive a finisher medal and free 2lb bag of Ka'Chava plant base protein powder. Awards will be given three deep, starting from ages 0-9 to 80+ age groups. This is a professionally timed event by Lin-Mark Sports, Inc. on USATF certified course FL14146EBM. Jim Shields to be named the Don Eslick Estero Person of the Year on February 8
Engage Estero is inviting residents to help celebrate and honor Jim Shields at the inaugural “Don Eslick Estero Person of the Year Award” dinner at 6 p.m., Thursday, February 8, at The Club at Grandezza. For over 19 years, Jim Shields has provided leadership and commitment to maintaining and improving the quality of life in Estero and, notably, improving education in our community. He created the 2-5-8 Graduate Junior Achievement program, including 135 volunteers, impacting over 2800 students. Estero Recreation Center hosting a Parents Night Out on January 20
Estero Recreation Center will host a Parents Night Out program from 4:30 to 9 p.m., Saturday, January 20, at 9200 Corkscrew Palms Blvd. This special event is for children ages 6-13 years old. Activities will include games and a pizza dinner. The cost is $5 for members. Pre-register at www.leeparks.org/register. The registration deadline is noon Friday, January 19.
