Elks Charity Car Show benefits the Army of Hope

Bonita Springs/Estero Elks Lodge #2753 held a car show on Saturday, January 23, 2021, to raise funds for the Army of Hope.

The Army of Hope assists Florida active-duty military personnel, wounded veterans and family members of a military member killed in action.

Estero Fire Rescue opened the event at 11 a.m. by raising the American flag which was followed by the judging of a variety of cars.

Winning first in their class with their 1932 Ford were (right to left) Amy and Carmine Dell Aquila shown with charity event planner Shirley Thompson presenting them with their trophy.

It was a successful day for the Elks, car enthusiasts and Army of Hope.
