Lee County Update

  • Beginning today, the Cape Coral Chester Street mobile collection site will increase its operation to six days per week. The collection site will operate from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday – Saturday.
    Additionally, due to safety concerns caused by daily afternoon storms, the outdoor Page Field collection site will operate from 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

  • United Way of Lee, Hendry, Glades, and Okeechobee Counties

    is partnering with Lee County to offer application sites for Lee residents seeking help with rent, mortgage or utility payments through the LeeCARES Individual Assistance Program.

    Documents needed to apply include: photo ID for head of household, income documentation, proof of loss of income, lease or most recent mortgage statement, and most recent utility bills (water and electric only).

Lee County Schools

  • Based on the recommendation of local health professionals, masks or face coverings will now be required for students and staff while at school. All masks or coverings shall adhere to the Student Code of Conduct, which states: “Apparel, emblems, insignias, badges or symbols that promote the use of alcohol, drugs, tobacco or any other illegal activity are prohibited.” Thank you to the pediatricians at Physicians Primary Care and Island Coast Pediatrics for their statement of support.
