The LeeCARES Utilities Assistance Program is now open.

The LeeCARES Utilities Assistance Program is now open.

Eligible households can apply for up to $1,000 in assistance for water/sewage and electric bills during each round.  Assistance may be provided regardless of whether the applicant has received previous utility assistance.

Individuals must have lost jobs, been furloughed or experienced a reduction of income after March 1, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The window for applications will close at 5 p.m., Friday, November 27.  The next, and last, application period will be November 30 – December 11, 2020.
