Lake Michigan Credit Union Estero The applicant from Lake Michigan Credit Union Estero was requesting approval to repaint the exterior of their existing building, adding two windows to the southern façade and screening the HVAC equipment.  They presented three different color options. Public hearings will be conducted at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday for a permit to repaint the building of the Lake Michigan Credit Union Estero and a development order for the Old Post Office. A public hearing was conducted for the Longitude 81 Apartments which was requesting to change the exterior building color from the approved yellow tones to a color scheme of predominately grey.  A representative of apartments presented the Board with several different color schemes for re-painting the buildings. The Board approved the color scheme demonstrating warm grey tones with the doors reflecting the terra cotta colors on the roof. Public Hearing – Longitude Apartments 81 A representative for Longitude 81 Apartments was requesting to change the exterior building color from the approved yellow tones to a color scheme of predominately grey. These apartments are located at 11221 Everblades Parkway, west of Ben Hill Griffin Parkway and north of the Miromar Outlets Mall. Representatives for the Clean Machine Car Wash will present their plans to build a car wash at the intersection of US 41 and Vintage Parkway. The property is approximately 200 feet north of Aldi Grocery Store and opposite of Breckenridge Drive. No voting occurs during public information meetings. Two new members of the Board were introduced: Barry Freedman, resident of The Vines, and Jim Wallace who is a former Design Review Board member. Village Land Use Attorney Nancy Stroud reviewed a variety of criteria of importance for the new Board  members. Public Hearing The Board approved, with conditions, the two-story 18,000 sq. ft.
