Blue Mass to honor local law enforcement, firefighters and EMS on on September 16, 2023
The Knights of Columbus sponsor a Blue Mass to show support, appreciation, and to thank all Lee County first responders – law enforcement, firefighters, and EMS personnel – for their services to our community. Estero Forever Foundation partnering with the Village to begin work on the Estero River Park
The Estero Forever Foundation (EFF) has partnered with the Village to provide volunteers to help clean the grounds and assist with maintaining the existing buildings on the Estero River Park property. EFF is forming a “Brigade” of volunteers to accomplish this work. If you would like to join the “Brigade,” please fill out the volunteer application here. Estero River Park, also known as Estero on the River, is located on the northwest corner of US 41 and Corkscrew Road.

Corkscrew Road Widening Update from Lee County on August 16, 2023
During the nighttime/overnight hours of 9 p.m., Thursday, August 17 to 5 a.m. on Friday, August 18, crews will be dismantling the existing signal at the intersection of Ben Hill Griffin Parkway/Stoneybrook Golf Boulevard and Corkscrew Road. Motorists should expect the right turn lanes closed during this work. Law enforcement will be onsite to assist motorists. Hurricane season peaks from mid-August to mid-October The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is now calling for 14-21 named storms to develop this year, of which 6 to 11 could become hurricanes with 2 to 5 of those that could become major hurricanes.
