The Estero Parkway overpass over I-75 will be closed to all traffic for maintenance by Lee DOT from noon Friday, Nov. 1, until 5 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, weather permitting.  Detours will be in place directing drivers to alternate routes. The primary alternate route will be Corkscrew Road. Pedestrians and bicyclists are advised to avoid the area during the closure period. Residential household chemical waste is accepted at the Topaz Court Solid Waste facility located at 6441 Topaz Court in Fort Myers, off Metro Parkway.  This facility is open 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. – 12 noon on the first Saturday of each month (except holidays).
