Protect our waterways by using just enough fertilizer

By |January 4th, 2022|Categories: News|Comments Off on Protect our waterways by using just enough fertilizer

Use just enough fertilizer to keep your lawn healthy. Over-fertilizing lawns, especially in the rainy season, simply pours excess nutrients into our waterways, which fuel toxic algae blooms. Get fertilizer amounts and timing from neutral sources that are informed about Florida landscaping, like the extension office. For more ways you can keep our waters free of pollutants, check out our flyer on how your landscape maintenance can protect our waters.

Marathon Fuel/Dos Amigos Authentic Mexican Grill has generously provided water and ice for these [...]

By |December 2nd, 2021|Categories: News|Comments Off on Grease and oil damage septic tanks

The county provides multiple ways to dispose of hazardous liquids - which can be found at: https://estero-fl.gov/for-residents/hazardous-waste-disposal.
