Fifth Third Bank The Board conducted a public information meeting for the Fifth Third Bank at Miromar Outlets Mall. They are proposing to build a 1900 sq. ft. bank branch with a VTM drive-through lane at the building and a remote ATM drive-through lane.  They are requesting 11 parking spaces. Resolution 2020-25 Covid-19 CARES Act This resolution pertains to the contracts to procure personal protective equipment and community testing for COVID-19. Councilmembers for District 1 Bill Ribble, District 2 Howard Levitan and District 6 Nick Batos will be termed out as of March 2021. Village consultants Clarion Associates and Johnson Engineering conducted a third and final workshop on the proposed Land Development Code (LDC). The LDC, which is required by the state, provides guidelines for all development and re-development in the Village.  It addresses architecture, open space and parking, landscaping, sidewalks, bike/ped improvements, traffic and stormwater and the types of permits required for these projects. The Village has contracted with Lab 24 to perform three days of testing for COVID from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., today, Tuesday and Wednesday, November 23 – 25, at Hertz Arena.  The test is the more accurate molecular test, which has a 1-3 day turnaround time. These tests are being conducted in the parking lot of the arena on a first come first served basis and are free to the public. The Board conducted a workshop for the Estero Crossing Commercial Phase 1.  The applicant was requesting review of  their updated commercial building elevations and landscape plans.
