Lee Health and the Lee County Government are asking us all to join the “Together, we can” campaign. The campaign states that protecting what – and who – we love takes all of us. The campaign stresses that we all practice the CDC guidelines of social distancing, wearing a face covering in public, avoiding touching your face, coughing and sneezing in your elbow and disinfecting “high touch” surfaces. Design Review Board to conduct public information meeting for Clean Machine Car Wash at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2020
Representatives for the Clean Machine Car Wash will present their plans to build a car wash at the intersection of US 41 and Vintage Parkway. Two new members of the Board were introduced: Barry Freedman, resident of The Vines, and Jim Wallace who is a former Design Review Board member. The Board approved the Local Ladies Social Network, Inc.’s application, with conditions, for a farmer’s market at the Miromar Outlets Mall. The market, which is currently in operation, was approved to operate one day a week on Friday, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., through September 25, 2020, in the parking lot adjacent to Ben Hill Griffin Parkway.
