More than 30 Estero residents turned out and participated in the first Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan workshop at the Estero Community Park on February 11.
Project consultants provided a brief summary of the project to date, which is halfway completed. Residents made comments during the opening presentation and were asked to participate by making their suggestions known on various charts as well as a map of Estero.
The goal is to identify gaps in the current system, come up with reasonable improvements and then pursue funding.
