Attention Lee County Utilities Reuse Water Customers
The Three Oaks Water Reclamation Facility is currently undergoing an expansion to increase its capacity. Until the expansion is complete, reuse water will not be available. Instead, Lee County Utilities (LCU) will be using groundwater to supply water to reuse water distribution customers. This started in June 2023 and will continue until June 2024. Due to regulatory requirements and operational constraints, there is the potential for system supply shortages during periods of peak demand. Public Hearings RiverCreek recreation site The RiverCreek recreation site was requesting a development order. This site is located at 20161 Camellia Crosse Lane within the Rivercreek subdivision and is bounded by Corkscrew Road to the north, Wildcat Run to the west, The Preserve at Corkscrew and Bella Terra to the east, and Kiker Preserve to the south. This project is proposed as a residential community with a total of 554 single family homes, gatehouse, and a common recreation area. Corkscrew Road widening project update from Lee County June 9, 2023
During the NIGHTTIME/OVERNIGHT hours this week, the contractor is scheduled to mill and resurface from the Ben Hill Griffin Pkwy intersection to east of Wildcat Run. One lane is expected to remain open in each direction during this work. Motorists should expect lane shifts and flagging around the operation. This work is scheduled, weather permitting. Corkscrew Road Widening Update from Lee County June 2, 2023
During daytime hours on Monday, June 5 and Tuesday, June 6, the contractor is scheduled to pave the newly constructed widened roadway (behind the barrels) from the Ben Hill Griffin Parkway intersection to east of Wildcat Run.
