The Board conducted a public hearing for Lake Michigan Credit Union’s request for approval of the revised color scheme for the exterior of their existing building and to add two windows to the southern façade. They are retaining the stone knee wall and using a light and dark beige paint on the walls with a blue accent color. Lake Michigan Credit Union is located at  21910 S. The Board started with a public information meeting for the School District of Lee County.  The School District will be requesting a Comprehensive Plan Amendment to develop an elementary and middle school on Three Oaks Parkway. The 68.5-acre undeveloped parcel is located south of Copper Oaks, southeast of the Post Office and bounded by Three Oaks Parkway on the west and I-75 on the east. Village of Estero Mayor Bill Ribble and Lee County Commissioner Ray Sandelli joined community volunteers handing out PPE equipment early Saturday morning. A steady stream of residents turned out on a sunny Saturday to pick up their free PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) materials. The PPE handout was a reusable Estero branded shopping bag filled with an N95 mask (made in the USA), reusable Estero branded mask and hand sanitizer bottle.
