Chase Bank
Representatives for Chase Bank were requesting a development order for the bank which is to be located at 10801 Miromar Outlet Drive, northwest corner of Miromar Outlet Drive and Ben Hill Griffin Parkway.
This will be a 3,732-square foot, one-story building on 1.2 acres with enhanced decorative pavers, pedestrian-friendly benches and 33 parking spaces. In additon, they have raised the site by 1 foot to address potential flooding issues. They have made a number of changes since their earlier presentation, including changes to the roof line, canopies/awnings, and corbels around the edge of the roof, among others. (Presentation)
The Board approved this application with a number of conditions.
New Board member introduction
The meeting started with an introduction of the new Design Review Board members whose terms expire 3/31/20; they are Michael K. Sheeley, Edward Zachariah and Thomas D. Barber. In addition, the Board voted for Barry Jones to serve as Vice Chairman; Council had previously appointed William Glass to serve as Chairman.
Village Attorney Nancy Stroud and Community Development Director Mary Gibbs reviewed the rules of conduct for the new Board members. (Presentation)
