Coconut Ford Pre-owned Vehicles monument sign
The applicant presented their proposal to install one double-faced ground sign, a retaining wall and modify landscape and grading at the southwest corner of US 41 and Galloway Ford Drive.
The sign will be set 17 feet off the roadway, include LED lighting for the lettering and the color of the sign will match the existing dealership signage. The pre-owned vehicle building is located south of the Coconut Point Ford dealership. (Presentation)

University Self Storage
The Board conducted a public hearing for a development order for University Self Storage. The applicant is proposing to build a 3-story facility with 600 storage units along with an ancillary office space located on the west side of Ben Hill Griffin Parkway across from Grandezza.
The applicant has added several tower elements to the building and the roof line includes three different levels. This self-storage facility includes 700 square foot of general office space, 30 parking spaces, a pedestrian connection to the existing sidewalk and there will be two-way access around the entire building. The existing landscape will be augmented by tall palms, trees and shrubs which will be maintained at a high level, and the buffer landscape along Ben Hill Griffin will be enhanced. (Presentation)
The Board approved this application with stipulations from the staff.
