Coconut Trace Medical Office Center
Representatives for the medical office center gave a presentation on their plans to construct a freestanding medical office building on a 1.2-acre vacant site at 22904 Lyden Drive. This property is located across the street from Coconut Point Mall, southwest of Autumn Leaves of Estero assisted living facility.
Their plans call for an approximately 11,000 sq. ft., one-story, 30 ft. tall building with 2 parking bays, allowing for 50 parking spaces. The architecture of the building is Mediterranean and Spanish Revival painted warm white with red, brown and grey tile roof, and ornamental trellises. The rooftop equipment will be screened.
There will be pedestrian access to the building through the parking lot along with a sidewalk all along the front of the building.
The landscape design includes mostly native plantings with palm tree accents at the entrance as well as public seating areas under the overhang of the building.
It was suggested that the applicant use a variety of color to create a vertical break in the building. Community Development Director Mary Gibbs suggested the applicant reach out to Marsh Landing to make them aware of these plans.
No voting occurs during public information meetings.

Wildcat Run Country Club
Representatives for Wildcat Run Country Club gave a presentation on their proposed expansion of the Grill Room, outdoor deck and bocce courts.
They are enhancing the architecture of the building, creating a lounge area, an indoor/outdoor bar with firepits, a card room and will be reconfiguring the kitchen.
The changes include adding 2 bocce courts and adding large plant materials around the base of the building along with outdoor lighting. They presented samples of the building’s paint color and roof tile.
Wildcat Run is located east of I-75 on Corkscrew Road.
The Board approved this application.
