The following work activities are scheduled to occur, weather permitting:

  •        UPDATE: Due to weather and other unforeseen conditions, LARGE DELIVERY TRUCKS HEADED TO WILDCAT RUN MUST CONTINUE TO USE THE FPL EASEMENT TO ACCESS WILDCAT RUN again from Monday, April 18 through Wednesday, April 20.  Passenger vehicles and small delivery trucks can use the entrance during this work.  Residents and guests at Wildcat run should expect crews working in the community entrance to remove pavers, complete asphalt work, and install curb in the area.  Signs are posted to direct trucks to use the detour.
  • On Friday, April 15, motorists should expect the turn lane from westbound Corkscrew Road to Stoneybrook Golf Drive to be closedfor crews to work in the median of Corkscrew Road at Stoneybrook Golf Drive while school is not in session.
  • During daytime hours, motorists should expect the westbound right turn lane from Corkscrew Road to northbound Ben Hill Griffin Parkway closed for crews to perform underground utility work. Motorists will still be able to make right turns while this work occurs, however delays should be expected at this intersection while lanes closures occur in this area.
  • Bicyclists should expect the bike lane from Stoneybrook Golf Drive to just east of Wildcat Run to be combined with the travel lane while crews work on the north side of the road.
  • Crews continue work on the southern side of the Ben Hill Griffin Parkway/Corkscrew Road intersection.  Please use caution as crews work near the roadway.
  • Crews continue construction of the bridge/wildlife crossingbetween Wild Blue Boulevard and The Preserve at Corkscrew.  Motorists should be aware of vehicles entering/exiting the road in this area.
  • Crews continue work in the median just west of Ben Hill Griffin Parkway.  Drivers are urged to use caution as work occurs near the travel lanes.
  • Pedestrians must use the temporary walkway on the south side of Corkscrew Road from Ben Hill Griffin Parkway to Stoneybrook Golf Drive.
  • Currently in the area between Wild Blue Boulevard and Cypress Shadows Boulevard (The Preserve at Corkscrew) vehicles are using temporary lanes on the north side of the road to allow crews to work on the south side of Corkscrew Road.
  • Turn lanes are currently unavailable at Midnight Blue Boulevard, Wild Blue Boulevard and Cypress Shadows Boulevard (The Preserve at Corkscrew).

Crews are installing curb, drainage, and sod, as well as performing earthwork, and relocating utilities. MOTORISTS ARE REMINDED TO OBEY THE POSTED SPEED LIMIT. Please use caution and watch for workers and construction vehicles entering and leaving the roadway. Estimated completion is fall 2023. Project cost is approximately $23 M.
