Based on new information, the contractor has rescheduled the paving Corkscrew Road, from east of Bella Terra Boulevard, west to toward the Wild Blue/Corkscrew intersection to begin on Thursday, January 19. This was originally scheduled to begin on Wednesday, January 18.
This shift in schedule will alter the date of the traffic switch at Bella Terra. During the overnight hours of Thursday, January 19, traffic is scheduled to shift to the entrance. Beginning early Friday, January 20, both directions of traffic (entering and exiting Bella Terra) will begin using the entrance (west side of the driveway). This is a newly reconstructed area so the surface will be smoother than what residents are experiencing while using the exit lanes.
MOTORISTS ARE REMINDED TO OBEY THE POSTED SPEED LIMIT. Please use caution and watch for workers and construction vehicles entering and leaving the roadway. Estimated completion is late 2023.
