Lee County has created a new website to provide residents with information regarding the widening of Corkscrew Road.
Lee County will share information on this new website, distribute project newsletters and fact sheets, make presentations to small groups and organizations, and conduct public meetings.
The website includes a Frequently Asked Questions page as well as a way to contact those in charge of the project. Public involvement is an important part of the process. Your feedback will help identify issues of concern and develop potential solutions.

The widening project will be performed in two phases. Phase 1 will widen the road from two lanes to four lanes from Ben Hill Griffin Parkway to Bella Terra Boulevard followed by Phase 2 widening the road from Bella Terra Boulevard to Alico Road.
