Zoning Ordinance No. 2018-04 – Arcos Executive Center

Council conducted a second reading and public hearing for the Arcos Executive Center to be located at the northeast corner of Corkscrew Road and Three Oaks Parkway.

The applicant was requesting additional height and square footage for their 3-story, 66,000 square ft. office building with retail space.  In addition, they requested a setback from 25 feet up to 120 feet in order to preserve the heritage trees on Corkscrew Road.  They plan to retain as much of the existing mature buffer as possible along with adding new plantings.  They will include pedestrian walkways with two gathering spaces with shaded seating areas. The Lee County Utilities lift station will be removed from the corner of Corkscrew Road and moved to this site and the developer will pay a proportionate share for a future traffic signal on Corkscrew Road.  (Presentation)

Council approved this application with a number of conditions.

Zoning Resolution No. 2018-07 – Vacation of drainage detention easement for the Arcos Executive Center
