Council will start the meeting with proclamations for Estero High School football coach Darren Nelson and 1st Annual Jaws vs Claws MVP Mason Crowell.
Next there will be a first reading of Ordinance No. 2019-29 pertaining to a rezoning to allow a multiple family project and commercial development known as Estero Crossing located 1,000 feet west of I-75 and Corkscrew Road. The second reading will be on November 13, 2019, at 10:00 a.m.
Council will then address amending the fee schedule to establish a reduced fee for contractors that hire a “private provider” for plan review and building inspections as specified by House Bill 7103.
Workshop items include Village of Estero 2020 Florida Legislative Session priorities, code compliance mitigation and payment update and the Corkscrew Road widening project.
