Council will start their meeting at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, with consideration of a 2020-2021 Interlocal Agreement between the Village and Lee County for Stray Animal Control Services.

Council will then participate in a workshop to review the Land Development Code (LDC) which regulates development and sets standards for landscaping, architecture, parking, open spaces and similar items, and zoning.  This is the first of six workshops the Village has planned to address the LDC.

This will be followed by a discussion about the possible involvement in the development and subsequent on-going support of the “Southwest Florida Regional Resiliency Compact”. The proposed Compact would be a collaboration of the units of local government in Collier, Lee and Charlotte Counties, organized to better prepare for the effects of climate change.
