Council will conduct an adoption hearing for the Village of Estero’s first Comprehensive Plan at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 13.
The Comprehensive Plan’s purpose is to help guide future development to achieve the Village’s vision and identity as a community with a high quality of life, strong neighborhoods, vibrant economic centers, unique natural environments and excellence in architecture, landscaping and design.
The Plan has been in process for well over a year and included more than 20 public meetings and workshops. The Planning and Zoning Board and Estero residents have provided valuable input at ongoing meetings held over the past year, beginning with a “Kick-off” meeting in December, 2016.
The full agenda is available here: http://estero-fl.gov/agendas/
Village Council meetings are held in the Council Chambers, Village Hall, 9401 Corkscrew Palms Circle, near the entrance to the Estero Community Park.
