Council will start their meeting at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, addressing resolutions pertaining to funding capital improvement projects with tax-exempt debt and amending Resolution No. 2025-20 with updated Community Development fees.

Public hearings will be conducted for resolutions to establish a non-ad valorem assessment for package plant to central sewer system projects for Sunny Grove Park and Cypress Bend RV Resort.

There will be a first reading of Ordinance 2025-16 amending Chapter 26 of the Village Code regarding special assessments, such as for a conversion of a community using septic systems to the common sanitary sewer system.

A second reading of Ordinance 2025-13 adopting a new Parks & Recreation Code which includes rules around how leagues and tournaments will be able to acquire field capacity, site security measures, informational and regulatory signage, and special event procedures.

Meetings are held in the Council Chambers, Village Hall, 9401 Corkscrew Palms Circle, near the entrance to the Estero Park.

Residents may view the meeting here and provide public comment by utilizing the eComment Card on the Village website.  Comments need to be received by noon one day before the actual meeting;  they will be distributed to the Council but will not be read at the meeting.
