Errington is a former financial planning advisor/investor, business and marketing teacher, school administrator, adjunct professor and an education consultant for IBM. She is past president of a suburban Cincinnati Rotary club; Rotary International District Governor, Southwest Ohio (53 Rotary clubs); marketing and public relations director for a humanitarian-aid organization; founder and director of a nonprofit organization for children. She is a Gold Star mother.
Katy is a member and has served on the board of directors of the Rotary Club of Estero and was named Rotarian of the Year in 2012; is a member of the Estero Historical Society; is a board member for Interfaith Charities of South Lee County (ICSL); is chair of the ICSL organic vegetable gardening project; is a Florida Certified Horticultural Professional; and has served as a church elder and is currently chair of landscaping for Hope United Presbyterian Church.
The Estero Historic Preservation Citizens Committee consists of the
following organizations: Koreshan State Historic Site, College of Life Foundation, the Happehatchee Center, the Estero Historical Society, the Estero Art League and is open to interested Estero residents.
