Gulfshore Opera has partnered with the Lamb of God Church to provide Thanksgiving meals to needy families throughout a five-county area – from Port Charlotte to Immokalee.
Your ticket and contribution will benefit Southwest Florida’s largest Thanksgiving outreach mission.
Gulfshore Opera’s popular women’s vocal ensemble, the GO Divas, will perform an uplifting benefit concert featuring their signature rich vocal harmonies from opera scenes to popular, contemporary songs of the 60s and 70s. This special concert includes sacred and inspirational songs like “All Good Gifts,” “When you Believe” and Mozart’s “Laudate Dominum.”
The performance will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, November 13, at The Arbor at Lamb of God Church, 19691 Cypress View Drive. Standard tickets are $35; premium tickets are $50 which include a meet-the-Divas reception. Tickets are available here.
Feeding the 5000: Thanksgiving Outreach is a local community of volunteers and business partners coming together in the battle against hunger in Southwest Florida.
Over the past ten years, they have provided over 65,000 Thanksgiving meals to needy families across a five-county area—from Port Charlotte to Immokalee. Hundreds of community volunteers join together during the week of Thanksgiving to prepare and package fresh, hot meals. On Thanksgiving morning, volunteer drivers deliver those meals to families and ensure that everyone has plenty to be thankful for. Feeding the 5000 provides our best opportunity to fight against hunger, to support our community, and to help needy families during the holiday season.
