Lee County Update

  • The state today approved Lee County’s minimum standards so that reservations can resume for vacation rentals, which had been prohibited under a prior executive order from Gov. Ron DeSantis.  Review the minimum standards that are required, available at https://fal.cn/38cwx.\
  • On Friday, May 22, county pools will reopen to the public. Here’s what you need to know about the re-openings and guidelines you will be expected to follow.
  • With Memorial Day weekend on the horizon, be sure to conduct yourselves appropriately while out in public. Follow social distancing guidelines and do not gather in groups of more than 10. Lee County Sheriff’s Office will be helping our Lee County Parks & Recreation staff enforce CDC guidelines at popular locations.

    Virtual graduation is coming in June and a traditional, in-person, ceremony in July as long as CDC guidelines permit.

  • The Lee County School Board approved the schedule today for virtual graduation ceremonies to honor the Class of 2020. Lee Virtual School will hold its online commencement on May 23rd while the District’s 13 traditional high schools will be broadcast on June 20th and 21st. YouTube links for each graduation will be published on www.leeschools.net before the ceremonies.
