Lee County Update

  • In observance of Memorial Day, Lee County Solid Waste will be closed on Monday, May 25. All garbage, recycling and yard waste collections in unincorporated Lee County, the City of Bonita Springs, the Village of Estero and the Town of Fort Myers Beach will take place one day after the regularly scheduled collection day for the entire week beginning May 25 and ending on Saturday, May 30.     Virtual graduation is coming in June and a traditional, in-person, ceremony in July as long as CDC guidelines permit.

  • The Lee County School Board approved the schedule today for virtual graduation ceremonies to honor the Class of 2020. Lee Virtual School will hold its online commencement on May 23rd while the District’s 13 traditional high schools will be broadcast on June 20th and 21st. YouTube links for each graduation will be published on www.leeschools.net before the ceremonies.
