Lee County Update

  • Applications for the Business Rehire Program are currently open and will remain open through this weekend and next week. The application window for the Individual Assistance Program will reopen Monday, July 27.

Lee County Schools

  • Lee County School District is offering four instructional models for the next school year. To help you decide which is best for your child, Dr. Evelyn Rivera explains the differences.
  • Superintendent Dr. Greg Adkins is recommending the start of the school year be delayed until either August 24th or 31st. The District’s calendar committee is currently working on options that will be presented to the Board for a final decision on Thursday, July 23rd at 2:00 pm. Dr. Adkins recently sat down with Adam Wright for a discussion about what the start of school will look like.
