Stay in May Festival

Estero High School Chef Educator Jeremy Jasper supervised as his culinary students prepared a three course tasting menu at Venue Naples for the first event of the “Stay in May Festival”.

Students from Estero High, Lorenzo Walker Technical High and Gulf Coast High prepared themed meals inspired by the music of Rodgers and Hammerstein.

The Estero students, Kaitlyn Jacobson, Angel Jimenez, Amy Hallifax and William Delphin, prepared Asian-inspired food themed after the musical “South Pacific.”  The menu included “Jack” cakes on a bed of wakame seaweed salad and pepper jelly, teriyaki soaked salmon with arame seaweed dressing and Asian rice pudding.

This event was designed to showcase the culinary arts of high school students and was hosted by celebrity chef Brian Roland.
