KLCB Executive Director Trish Fancher and Julie Yellig
Congratulations to the Estero volunteers who were recognized at Keep Lee County Beautiful’s (KLCB) Environmental Stewardship Awards Ceremony with an Outstanding Adoption Group Award on March 2. These volunteers were recognized for their work in the Adopt a Road program to clear litter and debris and improve the environmental health and beauty of Estero.
The mission of KLCB is to inspire, educate, and engage the Lee County community in improving, beautifying, and protecting our environment. The organization supports Estero volunteers with supplies to perform this work.
KLCB’s Annual Great American Cleanup Event is scheduled for 8 a.m. – 11 a.m., Saturday, April 1. You may register here if you would like to volunteer to participate in this annual “trash bash” event.
Kudos to the many volunteers who are good stewards of our community.
