Wildcat Marching BandSix Estero High School students were accepted into the University of Miami Frost School of Music Honor Band Festival.  The students traveled to the university on Friday, February 2, to audition for one of three bands and learn music they had never played before to then perform in a concert on Saturday, February 3.

On February 17, the Wildcat Marching Band will march in the Edison Festival of Light Grand Parade in downtown Fort Myers. Residents are invited to attend and check out the band playing in our county’s largest nighttime parade.

On February 24, the Wildcat Sinfonia travels to Palmetto Ridge High School to perform in the Florida Orchestra Association’s District Music Performance Assessment. This is the second year the EHS orchestra is attending the District MPA.

Concert Choir

On February 25, the EHS Concert Choir will partner with the Three Oaks Middle School choir to perform with the Bonita Springs Concert Band to premiere a brand new work by Lisa Batchelder for choir and band. This free concert will be at the Riverside Park in Bonita at 2 p.m.

Dance

All County Dance is a celebration of all the dance programs in Lee County Schools. The students attend a full day of workshops with professional clinicians and put on a showcase performance. Each school in the district can select up to 10 students to take part in this honorary opportunity. Congratulations to our 10 Estero High School All County dancers.
