Village of Estero

The meeting will start at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, with a proclamation congratulating the Florida Everblades for being the first team to win three consecutive Kelly Cup championships in a row.

Action items include approval of an Estero on the River Phase 1 & 2 Construction Manager at Risk contract with Manhattan Construction, the engagement of Horizon Solutions Group, Inc. to implement Tyler Munis financial system project management, and the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for fiscal year ending on September 30, 2023.

Council will be asked to approve resolutions pertaining to (1) the Statewide Mutual Aid Agreement and (2) adopting the procurement procedures and requirements associated with using Federal funds.

There will be a first reading of an ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Plan to adopt the South Florida Management District water supply facilities work plan, and a second reading and public hearing for a zoning ordinance related to 8111 Broadway East (Old Post Office).

Workshops will cover a draft Village emergency response plan followed by a FEMA update and operational audit presented by Village Manager Steve Sarkozy.

Meetings are held in the Council Chambers, Village Hall, 9401 Corkscrew Palms Circle, near the entrance to the Estero Park.

Residents may view the meeting here and provide public comment by utilizing the eComment Card on the Village website.  Comments must be received by noon one day before the actual meeting and they will be distributed to the Council but will not be read at the meeting.
