Genova Townhomes & Villas

Genova Partners, LLC, was requesting approval of a development order for infrastructure to construct 11 townhomes and 20 single family villas on the vacant 3.6-acre northern portion of the Genova site located southeast of the Corkscrew Road and Via Coconut Intersection.

The proposed architecture and paint colors of the buildings have elements of the Mediterranean style, matching the existing multi-family buildings. The townhomes will be located on the northern section of the property, with the villas on the east and west portion of the property.  These structures are two story buildings, with the front of all buildings facing into the Genova community.

This application represents the last phase of the Genova development.

8111 Broadway Avenue East (old post office)

Pruitt

8111 Broadway Avenue East

The Pruitt Family Real Estate Holdings, LLC, was requesting to convert the existing 4,800 square foot vacant old post office building into a small office building at 8111 Broadway Avenue East.

Plans call for removing the western driveway along with a portion of the asphalt on the northern end of the property to provide green space.  There will be an 8-foot-tall fence with trees and landscaping to buffer the house to the east.

The proposed architectural design style is Italian Countryside with a pitched roof, decorative parapets and brackets, curved windows, entry tower, and tile roof. The building architecture is similar to the adjacent Broadway Shoppes but with a color palette that contains more beige tones. There will be a covered outdoor patio at the rear of the building for use by employees.  The monument sign and dumpster are similar in design and color.

The Board approved this application with stipulations.
