The meeting will start at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 20, addressing a contract with Hagerty Consulting, Inc., to assist the Village in preparing and submitting infrastructure grant applications. Lee County received funds to support long-term hurricane recovery for the area, and Hagerty Consulting, Inc., would work with Village staff to get grant applications submitted to Lee County before the end of May.
Council will then review a proposal to execute a piggyback agreement with Chris-Tel Construction and Manhattan Construction for construction manager at risk services (CMAR) to manage and build smaller projects that are expected to cost less than $4.5 million.
There will then be a second reading/public hearing of ordinances pertaining to financial responsibility, procurement and investment.
The meeting will be followed with a legislative update workshop.
