High 5 officials and Estero Councilmembers break ground on the future High 5 facility, a major development which will offer a large variety of entertainment options for local residents and visitors.
101 residents and media gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking for the future home of the High 5 entertainment facility in Estero’s Village Center Hub.
The short program included comments by Mayor Joanne Ribble welcoming the crowd, High 5 Entertainment Founder Scott Emley and Village Manager Steve Sarkozy.
This was the initial step leading to the official grand opening of High 5, scheduled for the Fall of 2026.
High 5 will include indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, miniature golf, bowling, arcade and other family entertainment elements. A scratch kitchen will service indoor and outdoor dining with a sports bar theme. A large digital wall in outdoor social space will allow for large-scale sports broadcasts and “movies-in-the-park.”
The Village Center Hub is located on the north side of Williams Road and east of Via Coconut Point. The Hub is already home to the Village’s civic uses, Estero High School, and Estero Community Park and Recreation Center.
Through a public-private approach, the Hub will also include interconnected mixed-use sports and entertainment campuses that feature recreational facilities, parks, public spaces, and more for residents and visitors to enjoy.
