Residents will be able to safely and responsibly dispose of household chemical waste from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Items will not be accepted either before or after that time period.
Acceptable items include:
- Rechargeable/lead acid batteries. Non-rechargeable batteries are garbage.
- Liquid oil based paint; hard or empty paint cans are garbage
- Liquid latex paint; hard or empty paint cans re garbage
- Household cleaning chemicals
- Pool supplies
- Flares; ammunition
- Electronics, TV, printers, monitors, scanners, etc., small items/cords/cables can be disposed of as garbage
- Compact fluorescent lamps
- Fluorescent tubes
- Automotive fluids; the containers can be returned to the residents if needed
- Aerosol cans; empty aerosol cans can be disposed of as garbage.
Items which are not accepted:
- Card board boxes
- Prescription medications
- Tires
- Empty containers
- Bulky items, furniture, mattresses, etc.
- Automotive parts
