As you know, hurricane season starts on June 1 and runs through November 30, 2023.
While the season peaks in mid-August, everyone should review their hurricane preparation plans and take advantage of the disaster preparedness sales tax holiday which runs now through June 9. A second opportunity begins August 26 through September 8. Here is a list of items that are exempt from tax during the sales tax holiday.
