As you know, hurricane season starts Sunday, June 1 and runs through November 30. The first storm will be named Andrea.
NOAA and other storm forecasters are predicting an above average hurricane season this year, so everybody should start preparing now.
While the season peaks in mid-August to mid-October, everyone should review their hurricane preparation plans now and make any necessary purchases when there are no lines at the stores.
