The Village of Estero offices will be closed in observance of Labor Day on Monday, September 4. The offices will reopen again at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.

Other Labor Day closings in Estero include the South County Regional Library.

In addition, all garbage, recycling and yard waste collections will take place one day after the regularly scheduled collection day. This means that if the regular collection day is Monday, the collection truck will pick up that material on Tuesday. Tuesday’s regularly scheduled pickups will occur on Wednesday and so on, the rest of the week through Saturday, September 9.  Regular collection schedules resume on Monday, Sept. 11.

Lee County Solid Waste facilities and offices are closed Monday, September 4, in observance of the holiday. This includes the operation at the Household Chemical Waste Collection Facility, 6441 Topaz Court, and the Resource Recovery Facility on Buckingham Road. The Household Chemical Waste Collection Facility will be open from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 9.

Utilities: The customer service center will be closed Labor Day.

Lee County Domestic Animal Services will be closed Monday. It will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, Sept. 5.

LeeTran will not run bus, trolley or paratransit service on the holiday. Service resumes Tuesday, September 5. The schedule can be found at www.rideleetran.com.
