Council will conduct a final public hearing and adoption of the 2018-2019 ad valorem tax rate and budget at their meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 20.
In addition, they will consider adopting a resolution approving the land purchase along the Estero River. This is 62 acres of land on the northeast corner of Corkscrew Road and US 41 which extends north to Judeth Lane and east to the railroad tracks. This purchase is being considered in response to residents requests to embrace Estero’s historic heritage and protect the environment.
Immediately following the meeting, a workshop will be conducted to review the 2019 legislative priorities.
Please Note: This meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday evening. Village Council meetings are held in the Council Chambers, Village Hall, 9401 Corkscrew Palms Circle, near the entrance to the Estero Community Park.
