He has also served on the south Lee County Hospital Committee, as chairman of the Estero Community Improvement Foundation, founder and chairman of the Brooks Concerned Citizens, and Chairman of the South Lee County Committee for the Conservancy of SW Florida. He was awarded the ECCL’s Village Visionary of the Year award in 2010 for his “many contributions to protecting and enhancing Estero’s quality of life.”
