Public Information Meeting – Pavich Center

The Board started their meeting with a public information meeting for the Pavich Center, a ¾ acre property located at the intersection of Corkscrew Road and Happy Hollow Lane, ¼ mile east of US 41.

The applicant is proposing a two-story Old Florida style 8,000-square foot building with a potential mix of commercial uses such as office, restaurant, retail or café and 950-square feet of outdoor seating under the building breezeway.  The color palette for the building is accessible beige with alabaster for the trim They plan to have 26 parking spaces.  Here’s their presentation.

There was a discussion regarding the lack of a deceleration lane on Corkscrew Road; this will be addressed in the traffic impact study.

No voting occurs during public information meetings.

Public Hearing – Arby’s

A public hearing was then conducted for the remodel of Arby’s located at 9975 Corkscrew Road, west of the 7 Eleven gas and convenience store at Corkscrew Road and Three Oaks Parkway.

The applicant is proposing to upgrade the kitchen and to remodel the interior and exterior of their existing building with improvements to the façade.   The building’s primary color will be cream, with brown trim, red banding and pure white at the top.

There was no public comment.

The Board voted to approve this application with the condition that the mullions be brown and the building color be more tan vs white.
