The Planning, Zoning & Design Board honored Chairman Leonard “Scotty’ Wood III with a cake, balloon and words of appreciation at their April 9, 2024 meeting.
Scotty has volunteered hundreds of hours over the past 9 years to serve as Chairman of this Board. During that time, he has worked closely with the Village of Estero Community Development Director Mary Gibbs and Land Use Attorney Nancy Stroud in addition to the Board members. He will continue to serve as a member of the Board through April 2025.
A resident of West Bay, Scotty has a long record of volunteering his time to the community. He previously served on the Estero Council of Community Leaders Hospital Committee, helping to bring Lee Health to the Village.
The PZDB is comprised of a variety of professionals volunteering their time to help achieve the Village’s vision, with its focus on architectural and landscape excellence.
